Custom Applications –vs– Packaged Software

Package software is usually lower in price than custom software.  It has been designed to meet the general needs of companies in your business.  The downside is that it doesn't work exactly the way your business does.  It may also not use the same terminology that you are used to using.  This is where custom software can help.  It is created to mimic and improve upon that processes and terminology you already have in place inside your company.

Web Applications – Storage and Access
There are two places to run a web application, on your secure server on your network as an Intranet application or on our secure server as an Internet Application.  If you use your network then a secure way for remote users to log on to your network must be implemented.  If you use our secure servers, then your network is not accessed from outside, and your workers can use a web browser from anywhere they are authorized to access the web applications.  Either way, we can provide you with a solution. 

Security
Security is becoming more and more important in the world in which we live where identity theft, stealing of credit card numbers, industrial espionage and other crimes make life difficult.  Security is something our analysts are trained to think about before the 1st line of code is written.  When approached this way, it is FAR less expensive and it generally works better because the security is integrated into the application.

When we finish your software we do two types of security checking.  We test your software from the outside like a hacker would to see if we can break in.  Then we give our hackers a password, just like your employees would have, and see if they can break into the system from the inside like a disgruntled employee might.
